ShambaAssist by Spiderbit

ShambAssist is an IoT advanced and intelligent farm advisory system that utilizes automation and integrated sensors to enable farmers to remotely monitor their farmโ€˜s status in real-time. This technology-driven system collects crucial data from various farm parameters, such as soil moisture levels, soil NPK, PH, EC, temperature, humidity, and weather conditions among others. The collected data is transmitted to a digital interface or mobile application accessible to the farmer. This empowers them to make informed-decisions, optimize resource allocation and respond promptly to potential challenges.

Our team comes with the experience and knowledge

In outdoor farming, where crops are grown in open fields subject to the whims of nature, technology plays a crucial role in supporting productivity and sustainability. One of the key technologies used in outdoor farming is the deployment of soil sensors and weather stations throughout farmland.

These sensors, often integrated with weather stations, continuously monitor various soil parameters such as temperature and humidity, soil PH, NPK,EC ,soil moisture, and environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, wind speed and wind direction. By collecting real-time data on these factors, farmers gain valuable insights into the conditions that directly impact crop growth and health

Soil sensors play a crucial role in providing essential data on soil water content, nutrient levels. This information empowers farmers to accurately manage irrigation and fertilizer application, ensuring crops receive the precise amount of water and nutrients needed for healthy growth. By avoiding both overwatering and underwatering, as well as excessive fertilizer usage, farmers can prevent wastage of water and inputs, lower the risk of soil erosion, and enhance the efficiency of nutrient uptake by plants. Additionally, reducing fertilizer wastage contributes to lowering production costs.

INDOOR FARMING

Our team comes with the experience and knowledge to support Indoor farming.

Indoor farming, also referred to as vertical farming or controlled environment agriculture, is transforming crop cultivation through the integration of technology and sensors to enhance production efficiency. In this groundbreaking method, crops are cultivated within controlled environments such as greenhouses or indoor facilities. Here, environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, air quality, and other factors like water pH, NPK levels, soil pH, and soil moisture content can be meticulously monitored and adjusted to establish optimal growing conditions.

Sensors play a crucial role in indoor farming by continuously monitoring various environmental parameters. For example, temperature and humidity sensors ensure that the climate inside the facility remains within the optimal range for plant growth. This data is then fed into automated climate control systems, which adjust heating, cooling, and ventilation systems as needed to maintain optimal conditions. By maintaining precise environmental parameters, sensors help prevent stress on plants, reduce the risk of disease, and maximize growth rates.

Additionally, sensors are used to monitor nutrient levels in the hydroponic or aeroponic systems commonly employed in indoor farming. Sensors measure the concentration of essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the nutrient solution, allowing growers to adjust nutrient levels as needed to ensure optimal plant health and growth. This precise control over nutrient delivery results in healthier plants with higher yields and better nutritional quality.
