// MISSION

Built in Kigali, for the soil that grows us.

ShambAssist is a product of Spiderbit Ltd, founded in Kigali by agricultural technologists who refused to accept that precision agriculture was a privilege of the global north.

We design our hardware for African conditions — variable power, intermittent networks, real heat, real dust. We design our software for the farmer who is also the operator, the agronomist, the dispatcher, the bookkeeper.

Mission

To democratise agricultural technology — accessible, data-driven tools that lift productivity, sustainability, and profitability.

Vision

A continent where every farmer, regardless of scale, has access to advanced agricultural technology and the resource clarity it brings.

// 03 — SOLUTIONS

Three environments. One nervous system.

From the open field to a sealed greenhouse to a poultry house at scale, our hardware and software meet the operation where it lives.

Outdoor Farming
01/ solution

Outdoor Farming

Comprehensive monitoring and automation for open-field operations, hardened for variable conditions and intermittent power.

  • Weather-resistant sensor mesh
  • Solar-powered base stations
  • Automated irrigation triggers
  • Pest & disease early-warning
  • Multi-depth soil profiling
Indoor & Greenhouse
02/ solution

Indoor & Greenhouse

High-precision control for greenhouses, vertical farms, and CEA. We close the loop on every environmental variable.

  • Climate control automation
  • LED spectrum optimization
  • Hydroponics & aquaponics
  • CO₂ enrichment management
  • Stage-aware growth profiles
Poultry
03/ solution

Poultry

Welfare and efficiency for poultry houses — flock health, ambient air, feeding cadence, all visible in one place.

  • Temperature & humidity control
  • Automated feed & water systems
  • Ventilation & air quality
  • Early disease detection
  • Egg production tracking

// 04 — PLATFORM

An operating layer for your farm.

Sensors are the easy part. The hard part is what happens after. ShambAssist threads readings, rules, and remote control into something that actually runs.

System Integration

Irrigation, climate, lighting, fertigation — connected through a single platform with open APIs and a documented integration surface.

Remote Management

Web and mobile apps that work on patchy networks. Decisions taken from the homestead apply to a station 400 metres away.

Smart Rules Engine

Author automation in plain language: when soil moisture drops below 22% in Zone B for 30 minutes, run irrigation cycle 3.
