ShambAssist (operated by Spiderbit Ltd, “we”, “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This policy describes what we collect, why, how we use it, and the controls available to you. It applies to all use of our IoT platform, web app, mobile app, and the marketing site.

§ 01

What we collect

Personal information: name, contact details (email, phone), farm or business name and location, billing information, and account credentials.

Farm and agricultural data: soil moisture, temperature and nutrient levels, weather and environmental conditions, crop-health indicators and growth metrics, irrigation and automation logs, and GPS coordinates of sensor deployments.

Device and usage data: device identifiers, IP addresses, browser and OS version, telemetry from sensors, and product-usage analytics.

How we use it

To deliver, maintain, and improve the platform and its hardware.
To provide AI-powered insights, alerts, and recommendations specific to your farm.
To process payments, manage your subscription, and provide customer support.
To communicate updates, security notices, and (where you opt in) product news.
To meet legal, regulatory, and tax obligations in jurisdictions where we operate.

§ 03

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) trusted service providers under contract (cloud, payments, communications); (b) regulators or courts where legally required; (c) successor entities in the event of a corporate merger or acquisition; or (d) anonymised, aggregated research partners where individual operations cannot be identified.

§ 04

Storage and security

Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with access controls, audit logs, and regular security reviews. Sensor traffic is encrypted in transit. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.

§ 05

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data; object to specific processing; or withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. Email info@shambassist.com and we will respond within one business week.

§ 06

Children

The platform is intended for adult farm operators and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

§ 07

Changes

We update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
